XN Rose is a Brooklyn based singer, rapper, violinist, DJ, and songwriter. Known for his work with the rock band “Juice”, Rose began work on his artist project in 2022, after compiling a number of demos influenced by Stranger Things. The music blends retro synth-pop with hip-hop, while psychedelic violin solos, rich string arrangements, and folk-influenced lyricism all contribute to songs that sound a little bit like the 80s and a little bit like the future. It certainly doesn’t sound like anything else in the world of popular music. 

Rose lists his influences as The Weeknd, Majid Jordan, Daft Punk, Jean-Luc Ponty, Kendrick Lamar, Electric Light Orchestra, Jimi Hendrix, and Stranger Things. Additionally, the string styles of Turtle Island String Quartet, Boyd Tinsley, Peter Lee Johnson, Stephane Grappelli, and Stuff Smith all contribute to Rose’s violin sensibility.
